Our Family Is Committed To Food Safety

Food Safety is one of our core values at Hoffman Farms.

It is our policy to conform to modern Food Safety Regulations in order to provide our customers with the safest, highest quality fruit possible. Each season, we participate in a third-party Food Safety audit that provides us with GAP certification – Good Agricultural Practices – in which we demonstrate our commitment to food safety and security.

We believe that all consumers should play an active role in Food Safety – we should know where our food comes from and how it is handled. Food Safety is of the utmost importance to our family and we encourage you to let us know if you have questions or concerns.

PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES
TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL:

Wash hands thoroughly before and after picking berries. Please do not eat unwashed fruit.

Hoffman Farms Store provides picking containers for use on our farm. For food safety reasons, we cannot allow any reuse of cardboard containers, although we would be happy to recycle your box for you.

For food safety reasons, no pets are allowed on our farm. It is much too hot during our picking season to leave a dog or cat in the car while you pick berries. Please leave your furry friends at home.

Hoffman Farms is a non-smoking space.

Please do not smoke anywhere on the property, including the parking lot.

No food or drink shall be permitted in our picking fields, except bottled water. Please help us keep our farm clean and
dispose of trash in designated containers.

Do not pick fruit that has evidence of animal droppings on or near it.

Please alert our staff if you see signs of ANY animals.
